The Libby Defense

The Lewis Libby defense team will attempt to show that the supposed outing of Valerie Plame was incidental to the bigger picture of the bureaucratic infighting going on between the CIA, the White House and the State Department over the issue of pre-war intelligence, and provide the broader context for the Plame-Wilson affair that has so far been lost in the narrow focus of Fitzgerald's investigation.
