David Frum wrote an article for the Italian paper Il Foglio on the Sgrena checkpoint incident and the tragic death of Nicola Calipari. It nicely communicates to the Italian people that we Americans mourn the loss of a good and brave man, while politely pointing out that Ms. Sgrena was and is objectively on the side of the kidnappers and the insurgent killers, and deserves not an iota of our sympathy.
